Right now we are currently managing over 1.5 million dollars of construction projects.  The scope of our work is quite extensive.

Without a budget, your project runs the risk of not fully developing in to your perfect renovation or build.  If a workable budget is not clear at the starting point, many good design opportunities may be lost, because your contractor may fear the design ideas they are developing may be too expensive.  Your budget is a major constraint within which we design.  A fair an honest contractor like OneSource Development, will take your budget and give you several scenarios from you to choose from, ranging from the least expensive to the most expensive. This allows you to spend your budgeted money how you see fit.  It is important to consider your budget options carefully as different approaches and budget amounts can result in very different design results. Stay tune for the next blog where OneSource Development explains how different designs can help you develop your budget for the next project! ...

So much has been happening lately I haven't had a chance to really blog.  We have been doing kitchen remodel after kitchen remodel and it doesn't seem to be letting up.  We have also been remodeling bathroom after bathroom.  We recently finished a custom dog remodel with a custom waste drainage system, custom fencing, a commercial misting system, and a 13 ft by 40 ft concrete pad for the dog. The new dog will be living high on hog for years to come.

We love all the work we are getting and building our client base, but we are ready for some bigger projects.  We do have a few 100k projects in the planning and permit stages, and we're looking to land some commercial jobs very soon.  Keep your fingers crossed!!! Anyone looking to build a custom home?

In the past few weeks we have had the opportunity to bid over 200k in work. The good news is we have seen some of those bids turn in to customers.  The projects involve flooring, drywall, plumbing, electrical, custom granite counter tops, custom wood mantles for fireplaces, a few complete bathroom remodels, and one complete home remodel.

On the horizon, we have a few commercial construction projects we are going to be in the running for.  I will keep the site updated.

Its been a busy, but awesome week.  We have been installing tile in 3 different shower remodels, electrical and flooring in another remodel, and we are doing some custom cabinetry and a media wall in our offices.  On top of all that we have our usual granite fabrication happening in the shop.  This week we are finishing up one kitchen, two bathrooms, and a laundry room for three different customers.

It sure is nice to be able to rip your offices down to drywall, and build out the way you want.  We are hoping to have all the dry wall with a Sante Fe finish, 20" x 20" travertine tile, and electrical done by next Friday.  I can't wait to post the before and after photos.

Wow,  what an awesome turn out at the Pat Tillman run today.  Over 22,000 thousand people showed up to honor what Pat Tillman made the ultimate sacrifice for, our freedom.  OneSource Development was there to do their small part.  The best story of the day was seeing Donny Bolen cross the finish line after running the whole race with a baby stroller with two flat tires.  That's why we call him "The Mule".  Just put whatever task that needs to be done on his back, and he'll get it done.  Way to go Big "D".  If you didn't participate this year you can still send a donation to the Pat Tillman Foundation at http://www.pattillmanfoundation.org/

Come out and join OneSource Development at the Pat Tillman run this Saturday April 16th, 2011.  We will be running it to help benefit the Pat Tillman Foundation.  Come out and get some exercise, as well as give back to a foundation that honors one of our fallen heroes.

Another great day in the shop! We turned out 5 more counter tops and started building new cabinetry for the offices. We are going with a raised door panel on the cabinets. We also started designing the custom built media wall for the office as well. I just want to say thanks to all my partners for being honest, stand up, hardworking, and most of all real people. It's rare to find partners like you. With the team we have assembled, there is really nothing we won't be able to accomplish. Thanks Boys!

Today was a great day, but it seemed like it would never come.  All new electrical has been run, water lines are also run, our shop foreman now has his fabrication area set up the way he wants it, and I even installed a new mailbox.

We officially cut the first granite counter top in the new shop, wooooooo!  Now we just need to get started on the 9 other granite and quartz counter tops that are waiting to be fabricated.  Thank you to all the customers who have been so patient with us.

We can't say enough about how much we love our new location.  The office remodel isn't finished yet, but it is on its way.  We have decided on 20 x 20 Travertine and dark cherry wood floors.
